My name is Jason Baker – I’m the owner and lead engineer / producer with Sasquatch Recording. In addition to music production, I perform with the Pink Floyd tribute Pigs on the Wing, heavy psych-rock  band Skyraker and my solo project Citizen Vs. Narwhal.

These days, I work only with a few select artists and do not keep regular studio hours.  I currently work out of my home studio in Portland, Oregon and the historic Bingen Theater in Bingen WA.

My approach: create a comfortable space for artists to create and capture the best possible performances in a ‘live’ in the studio’ philosophy.   I enjoy taking an active role in engineering and producing killer albums from start to finish but also accept mixing and editing projects as well as occasional consultation, post-production and promotion / web design / social media and even tour management.  Drop me a line with a link to some music if you’ve got a project in mind  – I will take a listen and get back to you!
